Firearms & Range Policy

All firearms brought by students for use in courses must be modern, in good working condition and appropriate for the course. It is reserved for the instructor the right to refuse the use of any firearm he deems unsafe or inappropriate.

All ammunition is subject to the approval of the instructor.

All accessories such as, but not limited to, holsters and magazines are subject to the approval of the instructor.

Eye and ear protection are required on the range.

Firearm Safety Rules:

• Treat all guns as loaded
• Point the muzzle in a safe direction at all times
• Keep finger outside the trigger guard until ready to fire
• Be sure of the target and surroundings, particularly what’s behind it
