
Description:
One of the requirements to apply for a North Carolina CCH permit is proof of successfully completing the North Carolina Department of Justice approved concealed carry handgun course led by a certified instructor.
To ensure that approved CCH courses are compliant, the NC DOJ mandates that they must include certain subject matter and be a minimum of 8 hours plus range qualification.
The Old Cypress Farm CCH course is always conducted in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The course is designed to meet the requirement of North Carolina law and to prepare students for practical concealed carry. By the end of the course, you'll be confident and ready to safely and confidently handle a handgun and equipped to develop your marksmanship skill further.

- *North Carolina use of deadly force laws
- Handgun safety
- Basic handgun marksmanship
- **Range qualification
* There is a 20 question true/false and multiple choice exam concerning North Carolina Laws. Minimum standard of 70%.
** The range qualification will consist of 30 rounds, 10 rounds each at 3, 5 and 7 yards. Minimum standard is for at least 21 rounds to hit the target.
Prerequisite:
- At least 16 years old
(21 years is minimum age to obtain a CCH permit). - Have no physical, mental or legal issue which would
prevent acquiring a CCH permit.
Requirements:
- Handgun, semi-automatic or revolver (see Firearms & Range Policy)
- Holster with belt
- 50 rounds ammo
